Robert (Tim) W. Orr: Managing Director
Tim, along with brother Pat, owned a successful pipeline company which operated in the U.S., Australia and Malaysia. After retiring from this business, Tim settled in Australia and refocused his energy to growing wine grapes. Tim‘s greatest contribution to Heathcote Cellars is his knowledge on wine and specifically wine from the Heathcote region. Tim lives in the heart of the Heathcote growing area. His knowledge on growing grapes and producing fine wine is invaluable to the company. Tim has a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, California.
Debbie Orr: Quality Assurance Director
Debbie worked for 20 years with Hunt Wesson/ConAgra in quality assurance. After retiring from Hunt Wesson she put her knowledge of food science and quality control to good use in the area of wine making. Together with her husband Tim, she lives in Australia and focuses her time on growing wine grapes. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, California.
